Hairstyles can be a dilemma if not done properly. Here is a guide to quick perfect ponytails in different styles:

1) Sleek and side-swept:

Side ponytails are very cool, edgy and flattering. It is not outdated. Some people have a symmetrical face but a side ponytail balances things out. Make a deep side part on the same side as the ponytail. If you have side swept bangs then the ponytail has to be on the opposite side. While securing the ponytail grab the base and push the hair up to create loose volume around the face.

2) Low and lazy:

It is a mixture of a cool girl hair casually thrown into a ponytail. Take a start with air-dried hair and spray dry shampoo. Blast it with a hair dryer to get rid of the dry shampoo residue and it will leave your hairs with the natural, floaty texture required for this look. For an uptight hold in the front, mist hair lightly and blow it dry. Using your fingers make a low ponytail and letting the shorter strands fall and finally secure with an elastic band.

3) Romantic and twisted:

This style is the romantic one and even a bridal style. It appears so natural and effortless but in reality it does require effort. Firstly create a center part and blow dry the front. It softens the jawline and looks flattering. Next, curl 1 to 2 inch sections of hair with curling iron, misting with hair spray for hold.

Now comes the twisting part. Pull a section of hair on each side and do 2 little rope twists, fold the hair over and tuck it in with your fingers until it meets in the back at the nape of the neck. Secure the ponytail with an elastic band. Finish the look by bobby pins and shot hair spray to keep everything in place.
